Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The individual will operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools. Position reports to the Facilities Manager.Key Accountabilities

Responsible for performing periodic preventative maintenance

Assist with facility maintenance and repairs

Maintains the lighting system. Replacing lamps, tubes, and bulbs as needed inside and outside the building

Keeps an inventory of all filters, lamps, bulbs and other supplies. Places orders as required

Inspects and documents fire extinguisher and fire main system condition

Maintains the oil/oily water waste system

Assist in equipment and other maintenance repairs

Keeps the Maintenance equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition

Follow all safety rules

Punctual and reliable

Work cooperatively in a group setting

Ability to work unsupervised

Basic understanding of electrical systems

Single phase electrical installation

Painting experience

Ability to follow directions both written and verbal.

Reliable transportation

Valid California Drivers License preferred

Ability to work with a dynamic environment with changing tasks and priorities

Ability to work on elevated work (i.e., Ladder/Manlift)

Qualifications/Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

5+ years of related experience required

Ability to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environment

Ability to communicate effectively with team and cross functionally

Ability to use various forklifts and stock-handling equipment
