Job Description

Oversees, manages, and executes on audio visual and other campus technologies to foster in person and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and troubleshoot audio visual systems within a corporate environment. Support corporate technology including desktop printers, multi-function devices, conference phones, digital signage, and room scheduling systems. Administer videoconferencing software and host company webinars when needed. Train users in the use of campus technology and provide technical assistance to other staff when required. Interface with Facilities in supporting camera systems, display devices, and conference room microphones and speakers. Test equipment to ensure they are in good and safe working conditions. Setup and operate audio visual equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings, and conferences. Develops and reviews operating procedures and creates technical documentation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directing work only (no direct reports, but directing work to a CMO, Consultant or 3rd party.)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Education: BS/BA degree in related discipline and seven years of related experience; or, MS/MA degree in related discipline and five years of related experience; or, Equivalent combination of education and experience. May require certification in assigned area.

Experience Experience and proficiency in Mac and Windows based computers and software as well as mobile and tablet technology, especially presentation software. Hands on experience designing and supporting various professionally installed conference room AV systems. Proven experience of driving adoption of innovative solutions. Experience in management of networked digital signage systems. Experience hosting live and virtual events. Experience managing enterprise meeting software such as WebEx or Zoom. Experience with VoIP systems.

Knowledge/Skills: Performs a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Has wide-ranging experience in area of specialization. Has good general knowledge of other related disciplines. Has strong client facing and customer service communication skills. Ability to work and execute in high pressure scenarios.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Primarily working indoors. May require physical effort/lifting of medium weighted object up to 50 pounds. Occasionally work weekends, early shifts, nights, or be on-call.
