Organization:MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical CenterPosition Overview:Accountable for leadership and supervision of the Outpatient Services which includes Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Therapeutic Programs and others. In collaboration with the Director, assesses, develops, implements and evaluates program philosophy, goals, objectives, and treatment interventions.Job Description :These Principal Accountabilities, Requirements and Qualifications are not exhaustive, but are merely the most descriptive of the current job. Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, staff changes, workload, or technical development).JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:Ensures interdependent departments are effectively contributing to the quality of patient care and at the same time, responding to the various demands placed on them by other departments, physicians and the public.Verifies that all quality improvement tasks are completed and followed upon on a timely basis.Oversees strategic program goals and objectives are consistent with overall facility goals and objectives.Remains current on all therapeutic techniques and provide direction to staff and facility personnel.Monitors, operates, and maintains budget, staffing patterns, and FTE's of various programs.Maintains statistical data and reports as required by funding agencies.Explores and pursues other sources of programming and funding.Explores the possibility of creating new programs.Ensures adherence by staff to applicable policies and procedures for each individual group of professionals.Hires, fires, transfers, promotes, disciplines, evaluates performance and recommends merit increases.Supervises staff members in performance of their roles.Ensures programs meet or exceed agency, licensure and organizational standards and is in compliance with all licensing, accreditation and funding agencies.Maintains appropriate documentation is on file to meet or exceed minimal standards of all licensing, funding and accreditation bodies."COMPLIANCE: Maintains strictest confidence of all patients protected health information (PHI) and protects all PHI from accidental, intentional, or inappropriate disclosure. Performs care in compliance with department standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state and federal regulatory agencies to deliver the highest level of patient privacy and care.
