Come join us as we continue our diversity, equality and inclusion journey!GENERAL PURPOSE:The Marketing Manager is responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategies focused on driving Ross brand awareness, customer acquisition, and store visits. This includes end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives as assigned and in support of Ross Annual Marketing Plans.The base salary range for this role is $102,500 - $156,350. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develops content strategy and creative marketing briefs and oversees development of marketing messages and assets across marketing channels (e.g., TV, radio/audio, video, paid digital, web, email, social, collateral/direct mail, and store signage).

Translates insights / makes actionable for creative message and assets development.

Acts as the day-to-day liaison with external agencies managing inquiries and providing direction on projects.

Manages project timelines, creative reviews and approvals, and budgets for all assigned projects.

Work closely with cross-functional partners ensuring marketing efforts align with business priorities and objectives, agency/vendor partners, and the internal marketing team to execute and evolve plans.

Strategically connects the dots across marketing channels to get the best outcomes and identifies ongoing opportunities for process efficiency and cost savings.

Partner with internal Marketing Analytics and Media team to develop, execute and assess paid media strategies and plans. Work together to optimize campaigns, initiatives, and ongoing efforts. Share results with cross-functional partners as needed.

Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment while showing strong attention to detail and delivering flawlessly & accurately on multiple simultaneous projects

General project management work:

Serve as point person / ongoing resource for cross-functional and agency partners.

Maintain and publish project timelines across vendors to internal team.

Manage budgets and process invoices as assigned.

Conduct competitive research across channels and publish quarterly insights.

Manage miscellaneous internal team and cross-functional partner requests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.

5+ years of marketing communications experience

Strong multitasking skills including managing multiple projects, budgets, and timelines simultaneously. Thrives in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and ability to work cross functionally and partner with external agencies.

Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Agency and/or retail experience is preferred.

Multi-channel, integrated problem solver who can connect the dots between objectives & channels

Ability to articulate and provide appropriate guidance to create on-brand assets. Creative production knowledge preferred.

Proficiency/well versed in Microsoft Office applications.

Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Basecamp preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. This position requires the ability to use a computer, work as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others.
