Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures for fabrication, machining and assembly of flight hardware.
Works collaboratively with Managers, Supervisors, Technicians and Inspectors to ensure the efficient fulfillment of product and delivery commitments.
Review necessary tooling as required
Experience in various types of materials and processes such as sheet metal fabrication, brazing, machining, welding and common manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of ANSI Y 14.5 geometric tolerance and dimensioning.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent; Minimum 5 year experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Solid Works, Unigraphics and or CAD/CAM software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word software
