Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Manager (Level L) to join our dynamic team in Huntington Beach, CA .Boeing Huntington Beach consists of over 500 employees across numerous job disciplines who specialize in design, development, assembly, and test of Uncrewed Maritime Platforms, Mission Payloads, Acoustics, and Electronics. With over one million factory square footage, the site is looking forward to future development and manufacturing growth and is seeking a highly qualified senior manufacturing manager to lead our amazing teams in addition to joining the site’s Senior Leadership Team.This is a unique opportunity to join a high performing business unit within BDS Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems Division. Cultivates a culture of excellence (effective communication, teaming process, high quality connections, diversity & inclusion, trust & respect, collaboration, clear roles, adaptability, conflict management, accountability etc.)

Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, factory support and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Mentors leaders and teammates across the site in the art of winning together and personal/professional development

Drives and leads talent investment by being a sponsor, mentor, and coach.

Supports succession planning as well as driving the strategy around diversity and equity

Ability to lead via influence and work across functions & organizations

Business acumen to know when to lead via engagement vs. requirement/policy to ensure safety/quality

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Shift:This position is for 1st shiftSecurity Clearance & Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.

3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams

3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

3+ years of experience with composite fiber assembly and/or fabrication

3+ years of experience in using Lean principles

3+ years of experience coaching, guiding and mentoring teams

3+ years advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS).
