Summary: The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing all processes in production while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply. He/She is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams, which may be applicable. Under the general direction of the lead technician and the overall direction of the supervisor, this position shall be responsible for the hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Support all local manufacturing operations. 2. Operate general production equipment. 3. Complete relevant documentation following GDP/GMP guidelines. 4. Perform cleaning of equipment, small parts, and production area. 5. Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams. 6. Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary. 7. Perform daily cleaning of the production area 8. Revise and review pertinent documentation as appropriate. 9. Lead stretching exercises 10. Prepare and package product for shipment. 11. May perform other duties as assigned. 12. Review and process all incoming materials to ensure that they meet order requirements as outlined on purchase order 13. Assist in the investigation of any discrepancies on incorrect receipts, shipment orders, cycle counts, etc. until root cause is identified. 14. Responsible for any escalation in the work area to a lead or supervisor 15. Perform weekly cycle count activities and maintain accurate inventory in the system 16. Complies with SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures 17. Participate in daily housekeeping activities Qualifications: 1. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and understanding of cGMP regulations. 2. Incumbent must be proficient in general mathematics. 3. Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions. 4. Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. 5. This position may require shift, weekend, and holiday work. Overtime may be required at times. 6. The incumbent must be able to wear special production garments. Additionally, personal protective equipment must be worn due to safety requirements. 7. General knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word/Excel applications. Education and/or Experience:Requires AA degree or high school diploma with 0-2 year's related manufacturing experience.- ID: #41294594
