For more information, please visit www.thermofisher.com .Division Specific InformationThe Regional Market Development Manager for Real-Time PCR (qPCR) consumables is part of the commercial organization supporting the core Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) portfolio which provides high-value genomic data to assist critical decisions in research and applied markets. In this highly visible role, s/he will develop and implement regional and global campaigns to support the yearly revenue objectives for the qPCR consumables portfolio.How you will make an impact!A successful candidate will combine their strong scientific understanding with strategic analysis, business acumen and leadership skills to coordinate closely with the GSD Global Market Development team, their North America (NA) regional qPCR and channel marketing colleagues, as well as other cross-divisional marketing and support teams at various levels in the company to lead, develop and execute integrated marketing programs designed to communicate the customer value proposition and achieve NA sales, marketing, and incremental revenue goals. Act as a program leader and liaison to internal and external stakeholders in order to drive, influence and facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective marketing programs. Will be responsible for defining and implementing regional and globally developed campaigns, events, and promotions to build a pipeline of prospects, and engage with customers across research and academic, biopharma, industrial, and molecular diagnostic segments. Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and cultivate key partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in support of strategic programs.What you will do:Create cross-divisional marketing campaigns to support revenue goals, acting as VOC for the North American region within matrix of global marketing organization.

Deliver a winning strategy to achieve financial and market goals for designated qPCR consumable portfolio within the GSD Core Business.

Drive commercial alignment for portfolio-specific marketing plans, roadmaps, and corresponding deliverables from concept to completion.

Execute downstream marketing programs and tactics alongside marketing operations team to deliver regional marketing plans with measurable ROI.

Collaborate with the commercial team to develop meaningful training tools, programs, and campaigns that make an impact towards measurable incremental revenue growth.

Manage marketing budget, KPIs, and roadmaps to ensure timely execution.

Analyze trends and data using all available resources to identify new market opportunities and inform broader business/market development strategy.

Monitor and report on effectiveness of business performance and segments by gathering data and analytics to make strategic recommendations, and provide valuable insights into business trends, needs, and opportunities.

Lead cross-functional teams as an individual contributor to develop regional strategic and tactical action plans that drive growth in key channels and/or customer segments.

How will you get here?EDUCATIONRequired: Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, biology, microbiology, and/or cell biology or related discipline with 3-5 years of experience in a Life Sciences marketing or product marketing role.

Preferred: Sales and/or lab experience in genomics technologies such as PCR, Real-Time PCR (qPCR) and digital PCR.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSPosition may require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routine testing, per client discretion

A strong marketing performance history spanning from marketing strategy to tactical execution including web, ecommerce, social and other digital channels.

A strong understanding of marketing functions, planning, strategy, and execution, life science research markets, and competitors.

A collaborative ability to work on problems of routine to diverse scope; influence cross-functional peer groups without direct authority; and identify problems, answer questions, and gain cooperation of others to implement efficient solutions in a large matrix environment.

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPreferred: In depth knowledge of the real-time PCR and digital PCR markets and competitors with knowledge of genomic, gene expression applications, and life sciences.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business problems, identify business needs, and deliver marketing solutions based on data.

Ability to provide strategic guidance and expertise for product portfolio.

Ability to effectively communicate go-to-market strategies, metrics, successes, failures, best practices to improve overall marketing efficiency.

Ability to take a proactive approach along cross-functional lines in working through various levels of operating mechanisms to include internal and external partners in order to achieve goals of the company, customer, and colleagues.

Ability to learn and take coaching from peers and supervisors, both in success and failure.

Field travel up to 25% travel.
