Marketing Analytics Specialist: SQL + web reporting / tagging (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) + visualization (Datorama, Power BI, or Tableau) w/ data harmonization skills. Please note this is NOT an entry level job. Under the supervision of the Marketing Analytics Manager, the Marketing Specialist role is a key position reporting into the Marketing team. This role supports marketing analytics that leads into informed business decisions, and achievement of the Company's Strategic objectives. This position will support and develop solutions that will foster data-driven decision making. Assist with analyzing large platform transforming data, aggregating key metrics and building visualizations for strategic decisions is a must, developing complex algorithms that lead to high ROI. In addition, this person will partner across marketing, operations, IT/BI and other key stakeholders.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer, business, industry, and emerging needs/trends in the competitive landscape to enhance the customer experience journey
  • Analyze current business performance, identify trends and root causes, anticipate and respond to stakeholder questions; use data insights and research to drive change and seamless experiences for our customer base
  • Build and support data visualizations, dashboards, and best practices via Adobe Analytics and Datorama platforms (and possibly w/ Power BI long term). This includes internal and external team adoption, training, and support of platforms.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs trends. Uncovering data-driven, actionable, insights and recommendations to improve paid media effectiveness, efficiency, and return.
  • Collaborate with internal & external resources to design and implement process to extract, cleanse, sample, test, validate, and communicate data-driven insights from complex and significant volumes of data for unique business problems
  • Partner with internal and external teams to communicate and update channel and campaign-specific forecasts for in-flight media spend and post-campaign metrics & ROI.
  • Support and distribute digital reporting deliverables and presentations, tailoring insights according to the respective audiences within the business
  • Supports the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning
  • Provides insights to project problem solving by helping teams to identify and define key issues, develop hypotheses, and design required analyses

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor degree is preferred
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing enterprise-level digital analytics and visualization platforms

    (e.g. Datorama, Tableau, PowerBI; Dataroma is preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience managing web reporting & tagging (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics; Adobe Analytics is preferred; if you have Google Analytics or GA4 in lieu of it would be preferred that you then have Datorama with it)
  • 1-3 years of experience using SQL

    (e.g. Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata, etc. Snowflake would be a big plus)
  • 1-3 years of data harmonization skills
  • A/B testing experience (especially w/ Adobe Target) is helpful
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud &/or Adobe Experience Manager (in the context of reporting against it) is helpful.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Display advertising channels KPIs
  • Working knowledge of rules-based last click and/or multi-touch attribution
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to simplify and structure complex and ambiguous problems
  • Ability to present complicated material in a concise and effective way
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous setting, driving clarity on goals and objectives
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of Agile practices
