Adecco is currently assisting a Fortune 8 company in recruiting for a Pharmacy Clerk in West Sacramento CA. Apply Now!The Pharmacy Clerk in the Central Fill Pharmacy packages prescriptions and prepares them for shipping.Schedule: [First day is 12pm-8:30pm] Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 1:00-9:30pmPay Rate: The wage for this position is $20.75. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Performs prescription packaging that entails handling HIPAA sensitive information and medication information.

Performs prescriptions sortation utilizing handheld scanners.

Performs audits for closed bins.

Reading and analyzing application screens, and pops up windows to ensure that all HIPAA sensitive information is being followed by standard operating procedures.

Records total bins created in the system, by location, for a production day. Ensure that the total tote system count equals the physical count.

Restocks work stations with daily supply needs.

In addition to basic cleaning responsibility: Taking out trash, wiping down surfaces, sweeping, etc.

What do we need from you?

High School Degree or equivalent experience

One year warehouse, retail or customer service setting

Basic computer skills

Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA laws

Basic mathematic skills

Operate a hand truck/dolly

Operate scanning units
