Material Handler

Material HandlerDescription: Counts, prepares, issues, delivers, retrieves, assembles and packages parts and materials for processing to other departments. Uses carts and pallet movers in the locating of parts and materials. Hand loads parts onto shelves as needed. Uses drawings, diagrams, part replacement manuals and item master descriptions to correctly identify parts and materials. Generates necessary documents. Maintains a clean and efficient work area which is free of bins and pallets used in the material handling process. Move materials using hand carts or electric vehicles Drives and operates forklifts and pallet movers in the locating of parts and materials (may or may notbe required for specific roles). Hand loads parts onto shelves as needed. Uses drawings, diagrams, part replacement manuals, and item master descriptions to correctlyidentify parts and materials.
