Now Hiring: Material Handlers at UC San DiegoThe University of California, San Diego, is seeking Material Handlers to support operations at a lab facility. This position offers a pay rate of $21/hour .Key Details:

Location: UC San Diego

Pay: $21/hour

Work Environment: Primarily outdoors

Job Responsibilities:The selected candidates will perform general maintenance and organizational tasks, including:

Sweeping walkways.

Minor weed removal near buildings.

Organizing shipping containers with animal caging equipment.

Cleaning and organizing the interiors of buildings.

Assisting with loading scrap bins used for disposal of old equipment.

Performing outdoor clean-up around building exteriors.

Important Notes:

This position does not involve animal care or direct interaction with animals.

The role is located near a lab where animal testing takes place, but all tasks are focused on maintenance and facility upkeep.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work outdoors and perform manual tasks.

Basic organizational skills.

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
