Materials Coordinator : Our client is looking to fill a Materials Coordinator to join their team. A materials coordinator works closely with multiple departments to ensure the flow of goods occurs efficiently. This will be in their Fremont location. Scope:
  • Review master production schedule to determine possible bottlenecks
  • Schedule the kitting of material based upon production schedule and delivery of this material to the designated work zone
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and procurement team to ensure efficient flow of all materials
  • Review all material sent to production department by the warehouse and as well as maintain all transactions for material leaving work cells
  • Monitor physical building of assemblies to transact material accordingly
  • Coordinate with the Material Planners to ensure the necessary materials are procured
  • Escalate any BOM issues discovered during system transactions
  • Maintain 6S program throughout the production floor

Requirement:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a expeditor position or material management
  • At least 1 year of working a manufacturing environment
  • NetSuite or other ERP experience is strongly desired
  • Strong time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems, multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Pay Range: 65k-83k Annually
