MDM Data Engineer

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist for a Direct Biotech client. Job Title: Master Data Specialist Location: Emeryville CA (remote with hybrid)Type: Contract

• Creates, implements, and maintains master data for all critical operations objects, including Products, BOMs, Customers, Vendors, etc., to enable Supply Chain, Operation, and Quality to optimize system capabilities.
• Drives system configuration to support procurement routing processes
• Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes.
• Maintains analytical systems & detailed documentation, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.
• Designs develop and implements reporting from a data warehouse for Operations & Supply Chain
• Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree (Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Technical preferred).
• 2+ years of Master Data Management, Pharma, or other regulated industry preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience with multiple ERP Systems; Sage X3 (Preferred), SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the stated requirements
• Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment.
• Experience in ERP system implementation & KPI Development
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized

• Able to communicate clearly and concisely, written and verbal
• Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
