Marians offers Santa Maria Valley residents access to the most advanced technologies an expanded and enhanced Emergency Department Critical Care Unit neonatal intensive care unit and an array of womens services.ResponsibilitiesAbout This PositionIn keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy the MDS Processor is an integral position for the achievement of institutional goals by ensuring the timely completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Coordinates an interdisciplinary approach for the implementation through completion of the Minimum Data Set. Major responsibilities are listed however at times the MDS Processor may be assigned other duties.#RNDHQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.

Current CPR Certification.

Recent experience in long-term care, medication, treatment administration and the mandated OBRA regulated minimum Data Set Resident Assessment Protocol summary and care planning process.

Computer literate.

Preferred Qualifications:

A working knowledge of Medicare guidelines and managed-care guidelines is desired.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
