Mechanic Level A- Brood Maintenance Dept- (Day Shift)

Hourly Rate: $28.50 per hour(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)Analyze and repair brood maintenance malfunctions.Work from blueprints/schematics to perform maintenance/repair or install equipment.Report (in writing) materials and replacement  parts needed for jobs; prepare and maintain maintenance invoices as required.Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training (i.e., Brood Maintenance Mechanics, Classes B and C).Wire and install motors, switches, fuses, lighting, relays and control device Determine proper size and specifications of plumbing pipe, fittings, valves, etc., for both water and gas.Inspect and perform preventative maintenance repairs/corrections on pumps, motors, foggers, heaters, feed systems, vaporizers, injectors, etc.Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate (i.e., temperature, flow, pressure, etc.) pneumatic gauges, meters, etc. Troubleshoot and repair boilers.General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required; and Maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.
