(plus shift premium – 10% for 2 nd shift, 20% for 3 rd shift)11 paid holidays, 18 days PTO401K – 6% company matchMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceTuition reimbursementWhat you will be doingAs a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building and assembling LRV and coach floors, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy production environment in the flooring department of the best rail vehicles in the world.
Must be able to follow installation, bills of instructions such us assembly drawings materials, SDS etc.
Meet company standards for quality and workmanship and follow all safety requirements.
Safely use hand and power tools and use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to lift heavy materials and to work from a kneeling, crouching or bent over position frequently.

What you need to be successful
High school education or GED
Basic English skills – ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
General mechanical background.
We would be impressed if you have· Basic understanding of metric system measurements.· Previous experience in the assembly of large, complex capital equipmentAdditional Information
