Medical Assistant Openings for a large healthcare provider!Job DescriptionThis role will be a support role in the flu and clinic for the community. The Medical Assistant will support licensed vocational nurses and nurses in the administration of flu and vaccines to the general public. Daily responsibilities include being stationed at one of the following sites: Burlingame, Palo Alto, or San Carlos, handling 500-800 patients per day. Additional duties involve documenting information in EPIC, checking in patients, restocking vaccines and materials, and performing general clinic duties.Required Skills

6+ months medical assisting

BLS certified (American Heart Association)

Medical Assisting Certificate (no license required)

Experience working with vaccines, ideally pediatric

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Strong organizational skills

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 26 Week(s).Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Carlos, Palo Alto, and Burlingame. Must be willing to float to each location.

Monday - Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am - 5:00 pm

Thursday from 10:00 - 1:00 pm

Voluntary opportunity for overtime on Saturdays from 8:00 - 1:00 pm.

Work EnvironmentOutpatient clinic supporting flu efforts. The San Carlos site is the flagship site that operates a year-round vaccine & testing site.
