Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed for a full time position in a busy private practice. Hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday. Duties include the following:

Prepare patients for examination (take height, weight, blood pressure, temperature and O2 level

Verify patients information and record on medical history

Recording patient’s information in electronic chart

Answer telephones

Respond to email inquiries

Medical authorizations

Authorize refills of medication

Fax orders and prescriptions

Prep and stock exam rooms
