Job Title: Medical Device Production Technician - 1st ShiftJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment. The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using a microscope, and operation of various equipment and machinery.Responsibilities
Operate machinery to produce medical devices to meet specifications.
Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documents accurately for traceability.
Prepare and pack products for sterilization.
Inspect products using a microscope.
Ensure activities comply with GMPs.
Set up coating machines, coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.
Prepare excipient formulations and spray coating formulations.
Test formulations.
Package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
Identify supplies that need to be replenished.
Build components needed for top-level Work Orders.
Complete required cleaning activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in English (medium level, doesn't have to be fluent).
Experience with microscope inspection.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
Comfort working with chemicals.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
2 to 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
6 months of cleanroom manufacturing experience ideally with the microscope.
Good hand/eye dexterity and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Pharmaceutical/coating experience (for coating positions).
Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
Understand and follow verbal instructions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer software packages.
Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing supervisors and management.
Ability to work in a team environment.
