Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Front Desk Specialist in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing their interactions and ensuring a smooth flow of office operations. This position is vital to our team, providing administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment.Responsibilities Facilitate patient appointments using Nextech software, coordinating with medical providers for accurate scheduling. Manage a complex phone system, ensuring all inbound calls are promptly answered. Conduct financial transactions and pre-screen patients in a detail oriented and confidential manner. Work closely with medical providers to ensure accurate billing functions. Oversee the maintenance of medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive patient experience. Oversee the replenishment and organization of office supplies. Carry out additional administrative duties as the need arises. Utilize various software systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM for daily operations. Check patients' charts and graphs regularly and provide updates as necessary.
