Medical Scheduler

Description We are in search of a Medical Scheduler to join our team in the medical imaging industry, located in Downey, California. This role involves handling patient communications, updating patient information, and coordinating referrals. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Answer and manage inbound calls effectively to ensure smooth communication with patients Update and maintain patient information within the medical records system accurately Obtain patient referrals as part of the scheduling process Utilize CRM for managing and tracking patient interactions Use EHR System for electronic health record management Assist patients by providing necessary information and addressing queries Perform billing functions as and when required Work within a call center environment, providing top-notch customer service Use ADP - Financial Services, Allscripts, and Cerner Technologies for various tasks Utilize 'About Time' tool effectively for efficient time management. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Medical Scheduler Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service Ability to assist patients with scheduling needs and inquiries Knowledge of billing functions in a healthcare setting Previous experience in a call center customer service role is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education levelRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
