Description We are looking for a well-organized and experienced medical scheduler to coordinate and manage appointments for our patients at our fast-paced healthcare facility. In this role, you'll be tasked with booking and rearranging appointments, managing patient records, collaborating with medical professionals to ensure efficient coordination of services, and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the care they require when they require it, maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare practitioners.Responsibilities include:· Scheduling patient appointments for consultations, examinations, and procedures.· Managing healthcare professionals' timetables to ensure the efficient organization of services.· Confirming patient appointments and sending reminders.· Ensuring patient information is up-to-date and accurately recorded in our systems.· Maximizing practitioners' appointment availability while minimizing patient wait time.· Collaborating with medical professionals to ensure efficiency and continuity of patient care.· Answering patient queries and handling emergency appointment requests as needed.Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent.· Proven experience in a healthcare scheduling role is a must.· Proficiency in healthcare scheduling software and other relevant IT systems.· Exceptional customer service skills and empathetic nature.· Excellent oral and written communication skills.· Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.· Familiarity with medical terminologies and understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations.· Advanced multitasking skills and ability to handle a high-stress, fast-paced environment.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
