Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Member Services Representative within our Financial Services sector. This role is based in Bakersfield, California and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Member Services Representative, you will be primarily responsible for handling customer interactions, maintaining records, and resolving inquiries. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise customer credit records Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Handle calls within department standards, maintaining a professional demeanor Evaluate caller needs and direct them to the appropriate party or provide assistance Remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or upset callers Provide accurate and thorough information to callers Use available resources to research and resolve moderately complex issues Support and assist team members in accomplishing company and department goals. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry Proficiency in claims processing and understanding of medical claims Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Familiarity with financial service regulations and standards Willingness to continually update knowledge of industry trends and developments Proficient in using computer software and technology for tasks such as data entry and managing customer information High level of integrity and professional ethics Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
