Description We are in search of a Member Services Representative to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in Bakersfield, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is ideal for those with a strong background in customer service, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction. Process customer credit applications with high accuracy and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed. Utilize available resources to research and resolve moderately complex issues. Provide assistance and support to co-workers to ensure the accomplishment of department goals. Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, even in difficult situations. Transfer customer calls to appropriate parties when necessary. Keep supervisor informed of complex or significant issues that may impact other areas. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in the role. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry Proficient in Claims Processing Experience with Medical Claims is mandatory Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment High level of attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the role Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to members.
