Membership Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the financial industry, located in Walnut Creek, California. This role will involve managing accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and utilizing various accounting software systems in a detail-oriented workplace setting. Responsibilities: Execute accounting functions, including management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Concur to manage and track financial transactions. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial data and adherence to financial regulations. Oversee billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records. Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on their status. Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Ensure the correct entry of payables, receivables, and benefits in the ERP system.
