Event Staff – San Joaquin Pride Fest (One-Day Role)

We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and reliable Brand Ambassador to represent our campaign at the San Joaquin Pride Fest on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. This is a one-day opportunity, ideal for someone who is a self-starter, personable, and comfortable engaging with the public.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, October 4th, 2025

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: San Joaquin Pride Fest – [link for candidates to review]

Pay: $23/hour

Meals & Travel:

$13 expensed for breakfast

$15 expensed for lunch

$0.70 per mile for travel reimbursement (requires screenshot of mileage from Google Maps or similar)

Meals must be submitted with an expense report and receipt

Responsibilities:

Assist with setup and breakdown of the 10x10 branded booth (materials will already be on-site)

Distribute printed materials and giveaways to attendees

Engage attendees in meaningful, approachable conversations about mental health awareness

Share resources, tools, and links available for free to individuals—especially youth

Promote overall brand awareness and direct attendees to the campaign website

Keep the booth clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the day

Requirements:

Outgoing personality; comfortable starting conversations with strangers

Self-starter who works well independently with minimal supervision

Professional, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills

Will be provided campaign and mental health awareness materials in advance and must review before the event

Comfortable working outdoors for the duration of the event
