Midlevel Software Engineer

If you have a senior level person for this role, please send them as well. If they were a good fit and could ramp up quickly, we would consider increasing the rate (but we would be stricter on wanting them onsite, not remote).

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, EE or related field
• 2 or more years’ experience in an engineering verification or validation position is helpful but not required
• Requires knowledge of Windows as a development and test environment, Linux is a plus
• Experience writing test code for reuse, executing test cases, and generating reports
• Experience writing validation test plans with automated and manual test cases
• Test automation experience adapted to embedded development is very helpful
• Ability to write and understand Python code is critical. Understanding C, C, and/or C# is helpful
• Experience with PyTest will be very helpful
• Experience with software version control (SVN, Git), project tracking, and bug-tracking/ticket systems is helpful
• Continuous Integration tool expertise is valuable – especially Jenkins.
