What You’ll Do

Strong automation experience using Appium for iOS and Android platforms
Identifying existing functional tests in Xcode
Creating an inventory of all needed tests
Integrate Appium tests in to build pipeline for both iOS and Android platforms
Create release dashboard for test status (categorizing as must-have, should have for go/no-go)
Design and iterate a device fragmentation plan (which hardware to emulate, do we need 3rd party software to emulate, do we need eventually specific devices to test, etc)
The highly experienced quality professional who works under supervision learns quickly, brings ideas and passion to their daily responsibilities, and executes work to completion with excellence in a timely manner.
Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment
Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools ( Jira, Rally, etc.)
Strong understanding of automation and performance concepts and approaches.
Experience working with or on remote teams
Understand and utilize the risk-based testing technique
Experience in the test environment and test data management
Strong communication and collaboration skills, to challenge the norm

What You Know

3+ years of experience writing Selenium tests in Java or Javascript using ( Web Driver, Web Driver IO, Marathon, Appium, etc.)
3+ years of experience with test runners (Junit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine)
Use SQL for back-end database validation
Support quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment with minimal guidance
Provide feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases/scripts, and performing test execution for both project and support related activities
Leverage technical expertise to develop, maintain, and execute automation tests
Identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage
