Mold Shop Supervisor

The Mold Shop Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities.The Mold Shop Supervisor will:Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating dataAnalyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changesBe responsible for department’s preventive maintenance programConducts periodic inspectionsManage department KPI’sEnsure correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followedOversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programsThe Mold Shop Supervisor should have:Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teamsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationBe able to support job changes and improvement initiativesProject management skills
