- Parsing and reformatting existing MS documents in another format of MS documents. For example, extract tables from Word and reformatting in Excel.
- Merging multiple documents in a single document. For example, merging multiple Excel documents into a single Excel with certain merging rules, or merging certain section of Word documents into a single Word.
- Sorting a few thousands (4000) MS documents, creating dedicated folders and copying relevant files to appropriate folders according to labels or rules specified in Excel. Cross working among Word, Excel, PPT using a script language (Visual Basic, Python, MATLAB, etc) is required.
- Maintaining processed documents regular basis.
- Work with senior engineer and come up with documents processing plan.
- Improve final output quality.
- Willingness to accommodate dynamic schedule within limited time. Must be able to speak clearly, write and communicate thoughts, and ideas.
- 2+ years’ experience programming in Visual Basic (preferred) and/or Python.
- 4-yr Engineering degree + 2 yrs related experiences.
