Mulesoft Technical Lead

Description:

• The MuleSoft Tech Lead and Architect, provides technical development expertise primarily in Mulesoft technologies but is also able to work with developers from Salesforce and AWS technologies, to meet critical business needs.
• Ability to understand the big picture by working with business and product stakeholders( product owner, Product Manager, project manager, BSA, Architects) and be able to communicate that vision and design to the development team via technical design documents, patterns and prototypes.
• Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality software services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
• Lead the delivery of solution development for large complex projects by working with the dev team and Lead architect.
• Understand business and user requirements and design integration architecture specifications that meet requirements from a business and technical perspective.
• Develop, test, deliver and maintain solutions that drive compliance with and contribute to the development of relevant standards.
• This role will come up with technical requirements after working through business requirements, document integration patterns after consultation with architects, lead dev team to build prototype and production quality systems and will contribute to the continuous improvement of technical standards and best practices for all aspects of system integration, especially as it relates to MuleSoft and APIs in general.
• Solve complex and escalated aspects of the project, performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process.
• Implement Test driven development, incorporate DevOps methodology in Software development lifecycle.
• Works with Principal API Architect to validate solutions, API architectures and incorporate feedbacks back to the team to improve quality and consistency of best practices applied around API Governance and Development

• 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and development of application integration solutions
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint (on-premise and iPaaS) supported by obtained certifications: MuleSoft Certified integration architect, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect would be a big plus
• 8+ years of overall experience with a strong Java and integration background.
• Hands-on experience in Mule 3.x and 4.x . AWS platform knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in handling multiple Mulesoft projects.
• Experience in understanding the requirements and translate it into tech designs
• Design and develop enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of different mule connectors.
• Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager
• Mulesoft Anypoint studio extensive hands-on experience designing with Anypoint Studio and related Mule components (Mule ESB, ETLs, flows, Dataweave, Filtering, exception handling, API management)
• Deep understanding of REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML and SOA
• Experience in implementing API security
• Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT and Mulesoft
• Superior communications skills, comfortable with working with middle and senior management.
• Experience in AGILE based project development
• Experience in Building Munit test cases
• Expertise in message transformation, validation, routing and orchestration in MuleSoft
• Work with multiple stakeholders to define integration and API scope and specifications for a large scale transformation program by running a detailed assessment and discovery
• Knowledge of standards and good practices in scope of both: designing architecture of EAI solutions and software development
• Knowledge of modern IT concepts such as Big Data, Internet of Things, Cloud or Microservices
• Skills to effectively present information to various groups of recipients including management level
• Ability to lead group of MS developers across multiple initiatives
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability and leadership within the team
• Very good communication skills in English
