The Position:Campany is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Engineer to join our dynamic development team on a 6-month contract with the potential to hire. We have an office if you are into that, but we’re full-time remote work friendly if that works better for you. We believe that the development team is responsible for delivering value and quality to our clients. You will work as a member of the development team, developing, enhancing, modifying, and supporting all phases of application life cycle, mentoring other team members, and working collaboratively to design custom solutions. This position provides you the opportunity to build new ground-up solutions to meet challenging client needs. You will be using a broad set of modern, high-demand technologies such as .NET Core and Azure cloud services and work on a collaborative and fun team in a positive work environment. This position requires interaction with school and district staff via email, phone calls, and in-person.In this position, you will make a direct impact, every day, to the company and our customers. What we’re looking for:- Fluent in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a clear understanding of software engineering patterns and practices
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience
- Experience working with end-users (support calls/emails, on-site training, etc.)
Extra credit:- Experience providing services and solutions to K-12 education clients
- Experience managing Azure resources (Web Sites, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, etc.)
- Experience working with raw data (bulk data transmission, loading, and processing)
- Experience with data visualization and custom reports
- Experience with PowerBI
