A stable medical device company based in San Diego is hiring a Senior Manager of Software Engineering! You will oversee a team of 13 and aid in strategic planning and mentorship, driving the team to meet goals, and understanding the full scope of the business. One of the main application the team that you would oversee works on is their spinal surgery monitoring IoT planform used by surgeons during surgery using C#, .NET Core, .NET 6, REST APIs, WPF, and Azure. This year they are adding new features that can monitor the pathways and can ensure patients still have the ability to feel and move throughout surgery and afterwards. This role offers a brand-new work facility in Carlsbad, CA. It is 5 days in the office, but they do offer a full gym, bikes/surfboard/paddle board rentals, a putting green, basketball court, and they do Monday night football screenings/dinners on the terrace. They also provide the opportunity to witness the spinal operations to see how the machines are used, and more! Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years software engineering management experience
- 8+ years software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- WPF is a plus
