CCNP level is wishful thinking

Has to know basic routing, spanningtree, Aggs/VPC's, QOS, and wifi pretty well. Its daily on this job position. ASA firewalls and PAN are def pluses.

For added context, some have nicely described this role as a runner. The person in this role is frequently going between sites in the South. While based in WTC, from time to time they will be going to support sites on the islands just off shore from Long Beach, the piers around Long Beach, a facility in Huntington Beach, a downtown L.A. datacenter location, etc.

None of the network is exotic. It's basic CCNA-level network engineering work, for the most part; but knowing one's way around the various locations takes some coming up to speed.
