Network Engineer Senior Manager

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Network Engineer Senior Manager to support the efforts of TACNET customers in San Diego, CA .This role has hybrid remote capability.Job Duties:

Engage with TACNET Customers/Sponsor to support short and long term technical and engineering goals.

Support implementation of strategic plans, best practices, standards and procedures.

Champion training and mentoring FA Leads and staff as required.

Interface with the PMW-160 Program Office; attend technical meetings, CNSC, technical exchanges, strategic discussions, etc.

Serve as technical and engineering advisor across TACNET functional areas; generate technical papers, review technical and engineering documentation, as necessary, and provide technical guidance to functional areas as needed.

QualificationsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience.

Must possess an active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Experience with some of the following:

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Red Hat technology solutions.

Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat OpenShift, including administration and troubleshooting.

In-depth knowledge of automation tools, particularly Ansible, for configuration management and application deployment.

Demonstrated expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.

Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, in conjunction with Red Hat solutions.

Desired:

Relevant Red Hat certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), are highly desirable.

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
