Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Paraprofessional / Classroom Behavior Aide Behavior Aides will provide assistance to the classroom teacher or behavior specialist in the implementation of all program components such as the Clinical Program, Instruction, Special Education Services, hygiene, and Physical Fitness. We serve Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe studentsSouth County Districts we serve:-Poway-Vista-San Marcos 25-30 hours (part time) per week, Monday - FridayShifts vary - School day hours including minimum days    examples: 8am-2pm; 9am-3pmBillable Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.00; RBT certification required ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Assist the Behavior Specialist with direct observation of students.2. Gather and collect initial and on-going behavior data, follows provided protocols, and documents collected data pursuant to guidelines and parameters provided.3. Implement and model a variety of common behavior strategies, including but not limited to:Social skills instructionIndividually targeted skills instructionVisual schedulesDifferential reinforcementToken economyPrompting hierarchies and behavior shaping Essential Functions  If needed assists students with toileting, feeding, grooming, and promoting independenceAssist students to and from buses, pushing wheelchairs when necessary.
