What the job is like:
Visits are typically 1-2 times each day per household, for 1-14 consecutive days, and usually range from 20 to 90 minutes per visit. You'll provide feeding, walking, clean-up, plant watering, mail pickup, etc. while clients are traveling or at work. Occasional overnight stays & boarding pets in your own home would be a plus.
What is required to be an LA Pet Sitter:
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the care of cats, dogs and other animals.
- Reliable transportation (preferably 'pet-friendly'), with current license & & insurance.
- Respond promptly to email & text messages.
- Able to commit to working with us until at least February 2025.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Cover various morning, afternoon, evening and overnight visits.
- Pass a criminal/background check.
- Experience giving cats & dogs oral & injectable medication is a plus.
Hours vary daily and pay rate averages $24 per hour.
