We are also home to EyeMed, the fastest growing vision care company in the United States.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Sports Marketing Strategy & Operations Manager is a key member of the team that drives a combination of global sports marketing strategy, operations and activation activity. In partnership with Global Sports Marketing, North America Marketing and Global Brand teams, develops and builds Oakley’s brand equity with a diverse set of consumers, seeking opportunities in emerging sports & sport culture, while maintaining deep connections to our global core sports.You will be a part of the team responsible for comprehensive strategy, planning, and execution of Brand Plans and Marketing Briefs for our defining global and regional athletes, key sports moments and any additional athlete focused product or content opportunities.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Director of Sports Marketing Strategy to build strategic activation plans and execute marketing initiatives on behalf of our global and regional athletes & partners

Work with partners to implement a comprehensive strategy, including planning and execution of brand plans and marketing briefs

Proactively coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project strategy activation requirements, deadlines, and schedules

Partners with Director of Sports Marketing Strategy to conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Ensure the operationalization of the SM strategy is consistent among activations.

Strong foundation in project management, operations and planning skills

Develop and deliver presentations for unique audiences

Work with cross functional partners both in person and remotely, to ensure alignment with clear and concise communication

Collaborative, solutions focused, organized, detailed, deadline focused, helpful and resilient.

Lead consumer-first thinking and support relevant strategies that drive growth of targeted communities.

Identifies and proposes solutions in a timely manner. Partners with cross functional groups to solve problems and drive to group to meet project deadlines

Deliver briefs that bring together large cross functional teams to deliver and execute initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

5+ years’ experience in Marketing (Sports, Entertainment, General and/ or Brand)

A strong understanding of Project Management-Operations best practices

Experience working within sports, and/or with athletes and/or entertainers and their representatives, as well as third-party partnerships

Able to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion

Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies

Highly organized and able to complete projects in a timely manner
