The occupational therapist will actively treat a diverse population and age range as a part of a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities:Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional functioning to determine their needs and goals.Treatment Planning: Develop individualized plans of care and goals for patients based on assessment findings.Intervention: Provide clinic based occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions to help clients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.Education: Educate clients and their caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance their independence and well-being.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes, session notes, and other necessary documentation.Compliance: Adhere to relevant ethical and legal standards and regulations, including patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance).Technology: Utilize EMR platforms and tools effectively to complete documentation.Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest developments in occupational therapy and engage in ongoing professional development.Safety: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with professional and regulatory standards.
