JOB TITLE: Office Clerk
Our Office Clerk for this small nonprofit that provides family style living for people struggling with housing as well as the reentry population, should have good people and communication skills in order to best work with our executive staff, house managers, volunteers, and house members. In keeping in line with TLH’s philosophy to always find ways to better serve the community, our Office Clerk(s) are welcome to help us identify ways we can be more effective and efficient by contributing fresh ideas for improvement.
Hours: Daytime Business hours. Specifics to be determined
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily administration functions of the TLH office including but not limited to composing letters, reports, and emails, creating and printing forms, sending faxes, file intake forms, data entry of intake forms
Inventory, maintain and coordinate distribution of items from the Supply Room
Monitor TLH meeting rooms and keep them neat and inventory stocked
Order supplies as requisitioned and approved
Update Maintenance App with completed work orders and other items as needed
Make welcome call to new members once they have moved into their assigned house
Update Client Files
Coordinate and schedule trash pick-ups for all properties
Any other assigned tasks

Requirements
Strong telephone skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must be computer literate and have skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and cloud-based storage skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to file in alphabetical and numerical order and perform clerical detail, which includes making corrections and grammatical errors, spelling and punctuation.
Maintain confidentiality of client information
Communicate effectively in a culturally diverse TLH member population that promotes favorable interaction
