One Saturday per Month – MA ($30/hr) or LVN ($35/hr) – Westside LA

We are seeking dependable Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses to assist in a medical office on scheduled procedure days, one Saturday per month, on the Westside of Los Angeles.

You will not be working alone. Each procedure day includes a team of multiple staff members, including clinical and support staff, to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.

Positions & Pay

Medical Assistant: $30/hour

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN): $35/hour

All positions are independent contractor (1099)

Schedule Details

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Shifts may run 9–10 hours

4-hour minimum pay per day

Duties include (role-dependent)

Medical Assistants:

Greeting and rooming patients

Taking and documenting vital signs

Urine hCG testing

Fingerstick testing

Escorting patients between rooms

Assisting with intake questions

Non-sterile room support during procedures

Recovery assistance (vitals, water, patient flow)

LVNs:

All MA duties as needed

Post-procedure / recovery monitoring

Recovery vital signs and patient assessment

Blood draws (venipuncture), if needed

Escalating clinical concerns to the physician

Payment Terms

Payment is issued within 48 hours after the completed shift via Zelle

Hours are based on the scheduled procedure day and physician release time

By accepting a shift, you agree to these payment terms

Requirements

Bilingual (English/Spanish required)

Active, current license or certification required

– LVNs: active California LVN license

– MAs: active certification

Reliable transportation

Must provide and wear your own scrubs

Extensive experience is NOT required.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and help where needed are highly valued!
