Location: 50% onsite in Modesto, CA / 50% Remote (More remote flex upon ramp up)Duration: 6 Months+ extensionBackground Check/Drug Screen RequiredTitle: OT Security EngineerOperational Technology (OT) is hardware and software that detects or causes a change, through the direct monitoring and/or control of industrial equipment, assets, processes and events. Sample of Tasks:• Inventory of controls on OT systems• Palo Alto firewall rule refining and deep packet inspection (DPI).• Perform industrial asset inventory• Vulnerability scanning via Tenable.io and develop dashboard and risk register for asset vulnerabilities and prioritize vulnerabilities • Inventory ingress and egress traffic for industrial control systems• Work with information security team to define alerting and response rules• Create comprehensive network diagrams of OT systems• Tune ClarOTy CTD alerting to mitigate false positives MUSTS:• Senior OT Security Engineer -Must have extensive Operational Technology (OT) experience.• Firewalls (Ideally Palo Alto)• TCP/IP• Vulnerability Scanning (Ideally Tenable.io)• Able to crunch/manager a lot of data from multiple data sets• SQL (queries, TSQL, etc.) Ideally familiar with some of the following technologies:• CIA triad• Microsoft Windows operating system• CentOS, RHEL• Siemens PCS7 system design• IEC-62443 manufacturing zones and conduits• Security controls implementation• Mapping controls to standard frameworks• OT Asset categorization• Industrial system hardening techniques • IDS/IPS configuration and tuning• syslog configurations• TCP/IP networking• Industrial protocols• Deep packet inspection firewalls• ClarOTy CTD• Wireshark• deep packet inspection• NIST CSF Manufacturing Profile
