Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Operations Manager in the Professional Services industry, located in San Diego, California. The role involves overseeing the operations of our residential properties, managing a diverse team, coordinating with vendors, and performing administrative tasks.Responsibilities: Oversee the management of multiple residential properties to ensure smooth operations Direct a large team comprising of maintenance technicians, supervisors, community managers, assistant managers, and leasing agents Coordinate with various vendors for services and projects ensuring timely and efficient completion Manage the hiring, interviewing, and onboarding process of new team members Oversee the execution of capital improvements and special projects from initiation to completion Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management and team performance Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of properties, including eviction and collection processes managed by other managers Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members Review accounts payable (AP) and evaluate bids and contracts to ensure financial efficiency Utilize CRM and leadership skills to manage customer accounts and direct phone calls. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Professional Services industry Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Capable of managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Property Management is essential Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team Ability to handle and direct phone calls professionally Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrable ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong organizational and planning skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is desirable Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Solid understanding of financial management.
