HRIS Systems Architect

The HRIS Systems Architect will be responsible for providing business and technical architectural guidance to HRIS Analysts, HRIS business leaders, and customers for existing and new products & services. The HRIS Solution Architect will assist with developing adoption strategies, business concepts and technical capabilities that maximize the value of Oracle HR Cloud overall. The position develops and tailors application design concepts and implementation plans for the efficient transformation of the current application portfolio. The HSA is also responsible for developing and maintaining application design patterns, overseeing the development of application components, performance and security testing of application modules and interfaces. This role will provide thought leadership in software development and introduce these to the application/project as well as the enterprise.

General Responsibilities Partner cross functionally to understand business functional requirements and execute through successful implementation, testing and deployment within Oracle HCM Cloud with required technical documentation, peer review and approval. Design, own solutions and create architecture specifications for global Oracle HCM solutions with specific experience around Cloud, Fusion and Data Migration. Serve as a tiered SME escalation point for end user issue resolution. Provide functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert. Lead business owners through the entire implementation lifecycle. Configure (and/or oversee configuration efforts) and develop Oracle HCM Cloud modules including core HR, Benefits, Absence, Talent & Performance, Absence and Compensation to meet client requirements. Create security roles, access and domains within the Oracle HCM Cloud platform. Ensure data security across applications and documents. Champions process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions. Uses Process and technical know-how to obtain appropriate approval prior to implementation. Use data loading techniques (HDL and spreadsheet loaders) for mass data uploads. Demonstrate understanding and confidence in understanding data extracts and reporting capabilities of the Oracle products. HDL Integration Experience / Integration Experience with other systems. Lead upgrades and application patching by studying the documents provided by Oracle, analyzing the impact, reviewing the impacts with the stakeholders and obtain their approval. Update the process guides/documents as needed. Conducts training, develops user procedures and guidelines. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users. Participate in User Group Meetings and conferences. Proven experience in a Functional/Architectural role for Oracle HCM Cloud. Proven experience in full development life cycle and significant experience in delivering applications and architecture services in a production environment. Enterprise-level business project experience with strong process analysis, design, and documentation.

Qualifications 9 years' experience Combined experience in Information Systems 7 years of experience in Core HR and multiple of the following modules within Oracle Cloud HCM: Benefits, Compensation, Career Development, Succession Planning, Performance, Absence, HCM analytics (OTBP, BIP, FAW). 2 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud systems architect role Expertise level SQL and Fast Formula Skills Expertise with Oracle HCM Cloud Security Design and HDL Understanding of quantitative/qualitative measurement and data/system design principles Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills Excellent organization skills and attention to details Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with a programming language and PL/SQL preferred Excellent Project and Time Management Skills Ability to work independently under a general guidance Certificate in Oracle Cloud HCM preferred PMI Certification preferred
