Role: IT Change Management Manager Location: Hybrid Bakersfield, CA Hire Type: 6+ Month Contract (Extendable) Job Description:
- Develop change management roadmap, including milestones, timelines & deliverables for all upcoming IT changes
- Develop an end to end change management approach, including:
- stakeholder identification
- change identification & assessment
- communication model
- Communication plan
- Lead change management workshops with required end users or internal SME's
- Work with technical and SME's clearly identify change impacts.
- Host periodic calls with the key end users and leadership to understand gather feedback of past changes and expectation form new planned changes
- Coordinate, schedule, and conduct workshops/meetings to ensure end users understand the change. This includes putting together content for the session.
- Develop communication packages which may include Playbooks, Transition Guides, FAQs, Flow Diagrams, One Pager, Coffee Pot, etc.
- Effectively own stakeholder (persona) engagement and communication strategies promoting collaboration, ensuring input received is delivered to appropriate teams
- Overall 10+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of hands on experience with building and executing IT change management plan, including communication plan
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience is conducting user trainings
- Able to work with stakeholders, project leads, project teams, and other technical resources to create technically accurate and well-written communication materials, to include emails, newsletters and other forms of communications (and able to share some communication examples with the client)
- Experienced in end user communications and act as a liaison between the project team and the end users
- Experienced in translating technical IT topics into the key messaging needed for end users to understand
- Deep awareness about ITSM change management processes and formats
- Experience in using MS Office 365, Visio, JIRA / ADO, Service Now / Remedy
- Ability to be flexible and agile and pivot as needed based on client requirements
