Title: OTT - Technical Architect

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Full Time / Contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

Excellent technical solution design and documentation skills, utilising sequence diagrams, mapping use cases, and related UML tools.
Build solution with micro-services from scratch, Scalable and Serverless architecture, log management, security and improve the performance of AWS infrastructure.
Knowledge of the OTT ecosystem, including CDN, encoding, DRM, ad solution, analytics
Experience working with third party video platforms, knowledge on CMS development and content delivery
Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
Build deep relationships with senior and junior technical individuals and implement best cloud practices and enable team to resolve all technical issues.
Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
Practical experience working in Agile delivery environments;
Strong leadership qualities; Experience leading a team would be a plus;

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in the design and implementation of complex IT solutions (including scalable cloud-based solutions and micro-services architectures)
Experience in infrastructure, database and networking architecture for highly available, Internet-scale applications.
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Solution Architects, IT Management, and developers
Strong written communication skills.
High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
Technical degree (Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
NodeJs, DynomoDB, Monitoring tools (Newrelic)
Monitoring and managing logs (ELK stack), Dashboard creation for health check of an apps.
Professional experience architecting large scale solutions on AWS.
AWS Solution Architect Certificates; Associates, Developer, Professional.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
