The Santa Clarita Food Pantry is looking for an immediate hire of an Outreach Coordinator.

This is a part-time position Monday-Thursday and Saturdays. (Schedule is negotiable.)

20-30 hours a week.

Job Responsibilities include:

Opening the Pantry every morning.

Prepping, bagging and organizing donation bags for elderly clients.

Driving donations to certain local senior citizen homes.

Working closely with our dedicated volunteer staff.

Assisting the Executive Director and other team members on a day-to-day basis.

Organizing and creating community outreach events and programs in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Working on a fun and energetic team of like-minded people.

Driving one of the Pantry's trucks.

Qualified applicants will have:

A high school diploma or better.

Ability to legally work in the United States.

A positive attitude and passion for helping the food-insecure population.

At least 25 years old and a valid driver's license, and able to lift 30-50 lbs.

Applicants who possess the following will have a better chance:

A college education (AS, BS, or higher and can be a presently studying student.)

Some experience in the non-profit or service industry sector.

3 letters of recommendation.
