FAMILY LAW, BANKRUPTCY and PERSONAL INJURY law firm is seeking an EXPERIENCED LEGAL ASSISTANT or PARALEGAL with experience preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases and/or FAMILY LAW CASES if not will train depending on experience with other law firms.

Being SPANISH BILINGUAL is essential for the position.

LAW CLERKS: Can have internship and gain valuable experience in Family Law and Personal Injury cases. If you have experience that is a plus.

MUST have at least 1 year OR MORE of experience working at a law office in California with experience.

Applicant must be computer proficient, be familiar with Outlook, Calendar, Email Programs, Microsoft Word and MYCASE. Must be punctual and reliable. Applicant must be fluent in Spanish. Attorney will test your knowledge in Spanish: reading, writing and speaking.

Some other duties include answering phones, gathering client information being able to multi-task and being very professional with callers. MAKING APPOINTMENTS, follow the attorney's instructions;

REQUIREMENTS

-Must have legal experience in law firms for at least 1 year.

-Must be fluent in SPANISH and English [Bilingual] and must be able to read, write, speak and understand both languages.

REFERENCES: if possible from attorneys regarding your experience as a LEGAL ASSISTANT and your fluent Spanish [bilingual] for a law office; Need at least 1 or 2 references from attorneys that you have worked for;

-Have the ability of working under pressure.

-Basic Law Firm Computer Knowledge—Microsoft office, Excel, (Outlook/Microsoft Applications);

-Excellent Phone Skills and Customer Service; ability to communicate well

-Works well with attorneymeet attorney's expectations

-Must LISTEN and be able to take INSTRUCTIONS that attorney gives you

-A Professional Demeanor -DRESS PROFESSIONALLY and behave professionally;

-Must be high school graduate with some college education or Bachelor's degree.

-Must have own transportation; Live in Orange County, California.

-Must be reliable, dependable and capable of listening and following instructions

-Must have good memory of clients, calls, appointments, etc.

-Must be United States Citizen or US Resident.

-Must be Honest, reliable and live close to Santa Ana, California.

Location: Santa Ana, California

Compensation: $20 to $25 DOE; Full-time position: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
