Part Time Custodian Wanted

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in commercial or institutional buildings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and carpets

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners as needed

Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as required

Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisors

Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly

Lock and unlock buildings and secure premises as directed

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Must be able to pass a background check

Additional Requirements:

Valid ID and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Availability for evening, weekend, or overnight shifts (if applicable)

Reliable transportation to and from job sites
